Cyndi appeared on Wake Up With Whoopi on June 1st.
Cyndi was interviewed by Whoopi and said that the new album will definitely come out next year and that she will be singing some rarely heard oldies on her tour, including “The Goonies” song.
But the best part of the show was Cyndi’s performance of her new song “Set Your Heart”.

I hope that this new single will sound as good as the new True Colors Tours mix. The live version was just all right. Wasn’t too impressed with it. I pray that she will have a really good remix of this song. This is gonna be the first single? Hope the rest of the album is better.

Hi all! Die-hard fan here since 1984. I just listened to her performance on Whoopi’s show. I think the new song will be a huge dance club hit. However, I am hugely disappointed that she’s waiting until next year to release a full CD now!! Aside from getting my house finally rebuilt from Katrina, her CD was the one thing I was looking forward to for the Summer!! Bummer!!
I wish her all the best success on the True Colors Tour!! I just hope it isn’t mostly forgotten about by the time her CD comes out. I think it would get more attention if she followed the tour up with a release.
Peace and Love,
Dave

I heard the new song last sunday in Denver(Red Rocks-Denver True Colors Tour)It sounded much better! I believe that she needs to find a really good DJ to do a great remix of this song. It does have potential to be a great sond. The song with Erasure sounds absolutely amazing! The crowd in Colorado loved her! She was brilliant! Sold out show! Amazing Cause! Wish she would release her album now!(It would sell more now than releasing it later). Thank you Cyndi for a great concert last sunday! You Rock!

I attended the kick-off show in Las Vegas and it was amazing…awesome talent for a great cause - I’m very proud of Cyndi for putting this together. I have been a fan of hers since 1983, like most of us and have waited patiently for her to get the recognition and mass public praise she deserves. I think Set Your Heart could be a smash hit…and if it’s released as an outstanding mixed single then it can create major buzz for the cd due out early next year. It was great to watch her perform songs that she normally does not play live…very impressive and she’s so sexy with her guitar! Rock on Cyndi…..we want to see more of you! Congrats on the tour!

I came from Cambodia at 15, in 1982 of August. Cyndi Lauper, (I want her to know this) you are my secret idol. You shape my life until now. Thank you.
Nothing and nobody sing like you. You remind of a great female artist, Cambodian singer, Pen Ron. You got the same charactoristic singing styler.
I love you. I wish you Health, Happiness and Prosperity. RPC.
